CABLE FOCUS
By the mid-1990s, Mintek’s cable customers began asking for more than data collection hardware. Teaming with one of those customers, Mintek examined the problems associated with customer premise equipment (CPE) management and developed an automated data collection system—WinTrack SETS.

A complete solution, WinTrack SETS also integrates the process of adding cable converters to the host billing system and enhances the reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy on delivery to customer homes. It was with this solution that Mintek began to focus its efforts on the cable industry. Today, WinTrack SETS has more than 600 licensed installations, including the largest MSOs in the country.

LODGING FOCUS
Determined to expand its focus and reach, Mintek identified the lodging industry in 1999 as one that might benefit from mobile solutions. Currently, Mintek’s asset management and maintenance solutions have been installed in more than 275 full-service properties.
